Vicinity is a German streetwear brand that originated in 2020 but instantly dominated the market. Gleb started to work with Vicinity in 2023 regularly, producing creative photo and video campaigns, as well as e-commerce productions.
For the new colorway of a legendary footwear line – Akimbo – Vicinity invited Gleb to create a photo & video campaign. The green, beige, and brown sneaker colorway inspired Gleb to create a campaign titled 'Gardener.'
To remain consistent with previous campaigns produced for Vicinity, Gleb planned a photo and video shooting day in a relatable, lifestyle environment. It was decided to shoot a video campaign entirely on a 16mm camera. The goal was to produce a short narrative film, which would tell a story of two guys sneaking into the backyard garden and discovering a pair of new Akimbo sneakers.
A short movie showcased the sneakers in a humorous and memorable light, capturing the essence of nature. All the photo & video assets communicate with each other and create a unique visual universe with its setting and characters.
